Work Effectively on a Wide 4K Screen
The monitor supports 4K (3840 x 2160 pixel) resolution, displaying four times the amount of information than standard Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) , and more than two times the amount than WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixel) monitors. With 4K, you can display more applications simultaneously on a 27-inch single screen, greatly reducing the need to scroll or switch windows frequently.

The monitor features a USB Type-C® connectivity that allows you display video, playback audio, transmit USB signals, supply power to connected PCs, and even transmit a network signal. The monitor is equipped with USB Type-C, DisplayPort, and HDMI® video inputs. This is useful in hotdesking environments or shared workspaces where a range of devices are frequently connected.
In addition to the headphone jack, inherited from the previous models, an audio line-out terminal for connecting preferred amplifier speaker is also equipped.

The stand is designed with an open-sided curve that leaves valuable desk space open in front of the user. The slim rear cabinet implements contours around the back for an unimposing presence. The monitor's power and setting control switches are designed to fit comfortably on the front bezel without imposing on the frameless design. In addition, high-quality 2-watt speakers, which traditionally require excess physical space to implement, are integrated directly inside the cabinet while maintaining a subtle appearance.

Monitor cabinet is available in white or black and the aesthetically-pleasing design of the monitor extends to the stand and the cables. You can choose white for offices with a bright and gentle atmosphere, and black for offices with a chic and relaxed atmosphere.
Free Up Your Workspace with a Stand Bracket
| VESA-compliant stand bracket let you easily mount a client terminal such as a thin client or mini PC to the back of the monitor. The space the client terminal previously occupied is now freed up so you can make better use of your desktop. Even with the client terminal attached you can adjust the monitor's stand freely.

Auto Brightness Control
To prevent eye fatigue, a brightness sensor called Auto EcoView detects the changes in the ambient brightness that occurs throughout the day and automatically adjusts the screen to the ideal brightness level.
Clear View from All Angles
The monitor uses an LED-backlit IPS (in-plane switching) LCD panel with 178° viewing angle that minimizes color shift and contrast changes when viewing the screen at an angle. This means that two people sitting at the one computer can easily see the screen with high image quality.
Reduce Blue Light by 80%
Printing work-related documents is becoming less common due to the increase in home offices, telecommuting, and stricter security measures. Paper Mode reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the monitor, helping to prevent eye fatigue when reading digital documents. When used in conjunction with the Auto EcoView dimming function, blue light is reduced by as much as 80%.
Flicker-Free Viewing
Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED backlights, a small number of people perceive flicker on their screen which causes eye fatigue. The monitor utilizes a hybrid solution to regulate brightness and make flicker unperceivable without any drawbacks like compromising color stability – even on low brightness settings.
Minimum Brightness of 1 cd/m2
In a dimly-lit work environment, a monitor with low brightness settings is more comfortable to use. With its LED backlight, the monitor is adjustable to approximately 1 cd/m² which is less than 1% of the maximum.
Glare Reduction
The panel is treated with an anti-glare coating to reduce screen reflections caused by ambient lightning. This makes the screen easier to see and helps reduce eye fatigue.

The DICOM preset mode simulates a DICOM curve which is set in the factory. These monitors give the consultant an edge over standard desktop monitors for viewing medical images. At the same time, get the advantage of a vastly superior desktop monitor.

Cushioning Environmental Impact
FlexScan Sustainable Monitors are moving away from using plastic and styrofoam in the packaging to reduce environmental impact. The monitors are safely packed using molded pulp, which is made from recycled cardboard and newspaper, and cables are wrapped in paper instead of plastic bags.
Collective Environmental Consciousness
EIZO offers corporate customers a collective packaging option, where four monitors are packaged in a single box and four monitor stands are packaged separately, also in a single box. This reduces the total packaging materials used, improves loading efficiency during shipping, and streamlines unpacking and installation time. For example, the package size of the EV2740X monitor is reduced by approximately 26% and the weight is reduced by approximately 34% compared to individual packaging for the same number of monitors.

The Auto EcoView function automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness according to changes in the ambient light. The EcoView Optimizer 2 function fine-tunes the balance between brightness and gain according to the content displayed on the screen.
